102 days agoI hate how on EVERY female-standup comedian on youtube there are comments like “chicks really aren’t funny”, “women can’t do standup” etc. I agree that most female standups suck… but so does most male standups! But if a man sucks it’s because he (as an individaual) has bad sense of humour, if a woman sucks people assume it’s because she’s a woman (and that all women have bad sense of humour). So tired of sexists!

102 days agoIts not about being sexist, I would PREFER female comedians but unfortunately, on the “whole” they arn’t as funny as male comedians. That’s not being sexist. Because I also love watching tennis but watching men’s tennis isn’t as great as watching the top ranked female players- and that’s neither sexual nor sexist, just a simple fact. So before you jump into Germaine Greer’s hateful corner consider the fact that it might simply be true, regardless of whether its a good or bad fact.
